Every child in your class is someone's whole world

When I meet new people and they ask what I do, I tend to say "I'm just a preschool teacher" because I always thought being a preschool teacher isn't an extraordinary job like a doctor or a pilot or a missionary but I've come to realize that after being just a preschool teacher for about 9 months now that it is such an honour. It is such an awesome opportunity and privilege to mould and shape these little peoples lives.

I wanted to start this blog because I hear so many stories, funny and cute, some sad and I wanted a way to document these things and also the lessons I learn.

There was a little boy in my class that was really hard to get along with. He was hardwork. He was needy, attention seeking and just different to all the other children. I really prayed and asked God to help change my mindset towards him and I came across this quote "every child in your class is someone's whole world". It never really meant anything to me until one day it came alive to me and became so real.
I was having a conversation with his mom and she was sharing with me how she knows he is different and hardwork but "he's my son, I love him so much" he is her whole world!
From that moment I started viewing him with different eyes, I started showering him with love and affection, because that's what he craved, and now that he has left our school, I really will miss him!
